Step back into simpler times at the Storytelling Festival Oct. 20, presented by the South Cobb Arts Alliance at the Historic Mable House at 5239 Floyd Road in Mableton.
Festival hours will be from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information please call 770-819-3285.
Bring your lunch or purchase lunch at the festival as the South Cobb Lions present their annual BBQ. Girl Scout and Brownie troops are welcome, as well as the public.
Storytellers will delight young and old alike with tales of life in the days of the Mable Family Farm. In addition, kids will love the pony rides, free crafts, live music, pottery and blacksmith demonstrations. Tour the historic Mable House, and when you’re ready for lunch, enjoy BBQ, the bake sale, and fresh cooked vegetables from the Mables’ own kitchen.
