Farmers Markets Coming To Smyrna, South Cobb

Farmer’s Markets will soon be opening, supplying fresh fruit, vegetables and produce in the Smyrna and South Cobb area.
The Smyrna Fresh Produce Market, held Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. – 12 noon in the Smyrna First Baptist parking lot at 1275 Church Street, Smyrna, will open May 7.
Stock up on all your fresh fruits and veggies every Saturday at the Fresh Produce Market.

St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church sponsors FARM — Farmer’s Atlanta Road Market — weekly on Tuesdays from 4 to 8 p.m. beginning May 3.
Local farmers and specialty food vendors gather at St. Benedict’s Campus, 2160 Cooper Lake Road, Smyrna, at Atlanta Road to sell their fresh seasonal food and vegetables.
This weekday source for locally produced beef, chicken, eggs, cheeses, breads, honey, plants & perennials, homemade salsas, and much more focuses on high quality items to showcase local farmers.
Paces Ferry Farmer’s Market continues each Wednesday and Friday from 1 p.m. until dusk. Fresh produce, homemade goodies, including Noemi’s great tamales, are available.

The Mableton Farmers Market will re-open Thursday, May 26, and run every Thursday through Sept. 29. The market hours will be 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. The location will be the Mable House complex parking lot between the Historic home and the Arts Center, located on Floyd Road. There is ample opportunity and expectation the market will grow substantially from last year’s highly successful inaugural season. The Mableton Farmers Market is a partnership of the Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, Cobb Public Health, Lifelong Mableton Initiative and Mableton Improvement Coalition.
