‘Aging By Design’ Summit Set
Registration is open now for the Aging by Design 2016 Summit and Expo, to be held 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta. This event will provide invaluable information to help you shape the life you want to live and help you plan for the future.
Keynote speakers Coach Vince and Barbara Dooley will share the importance of living a healthy lifestyle that includes nutrition, recreation and connecting with others. Coach Dooley is one of the winningest college football coaches in history and a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. He led the University of Georgia Bulldogs for 25 years and won six South Eastern Conference championships and a national championship. They have been married for almost 50 years and Barbara is a well-respected author, radio and television personality, non-profit volunteer and career woman.
Following the keynote speakers, there will be an expo, featuring many local businesses related to living well. Representatives will be able to answer your questions about retirement planning, travel, home health, in-home care, many housing options — including independent, assisted and retirement — and more. Free health screenings will also be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
