Two events mark the beginning of summer, the Smyrna Fresh Market and Food Truck Tuesday at Taylor-Brawner Park in Smyrna.
The 2014 Smyrna Fresh Market opened May 3, 8 a.m. – noon in the Smyrna First Baptist Church parking lot adjacent to the Market Village.
All of your old favorites will be back plus some exciting new folks, including soaps, sauces, baked goods, salsas, honey, pickles, jams and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The Market will be open every Saturday May through September, 8 to noon, weather permitting. Call Keep Smyrna Beautiful for more information at 770-431-2863.
And the food trucks are back at Taylor-Brawner Park beginning in May for Food Truck Tuesday each week, from 5 – 9 p.m.
Each event includes food sold from more than a dozen food trucks, live music, gorgeous weather, and mouth-watering treats. The final Food Truck Tuesday of the year is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 16.
