October ushers in Keep Smyrna Beautiful’s annual “Jonquil Gold Rush” with the delivery of 20,000 Carlton jonquil bulbs to the SmyrnaRecyclingCenter. The bulbs will be $15 for a bag of 50 and will be available at Backyard Feed and Seed (1565 Roswell Street), the SmyrnaRecyclingCenter (645 Smyrna Hill Drive), and at the Keep Smyrna Beautiful booth during the Fall Festival on October 26 and 27.
Each year as part of the project, hundreds of bulbs are donated to schools and planted on public lands. The bulbs are sold at or near cost to make them affordable for mass planting in Smyrna.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to beautify your yard and to promote our status as the “JonquilCity” at a great price! Instructions for planting are included.
