Violantes Honored With 2 Awards

Juan V GiovannisJuan Violantes, owner of Giovanni’s Restaurant and founder of Giovanni’s Children Foundation is recipient of the 2015 National Black and Latino Council Power Player award and the 2016 El Salvador Don Quijote Award.

Violantes and Giovanni Valente operate Giovanni’s Restaurant, a fine Italian Dining Restaurant in Austell.

Violantes is an achiever and firm believer that nothing is impossible. His “Just do the best you can” attitude is very contagious. With a tough market and pierce competition, Giovanni’s Restaurant is now, among the most recognized dining establishments, and locally, very popular and well known in the area.

Originally from El Salvador, Violantes got his Business Management degree in University of El In 2014, Violantes founded Giovannis Children Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization with the ultimate goal to provide basic needs such as food and help to the poor and less fortunate, especially the small children. We want to make the children feel they are loved and somebody cares even just for a very limited time. This is Violantes’ way of giving back for all the blessings he has achieved.

For the second year in a row, Giovannis Childrens Foundation hosted a “Dining for Charity” event in partnership with Giovannis Restaurant. Food and beverages were provided at no specific cost. Music and fun, appetizer, salad, fruits, entrees, desserts were overflowing. Patrons just donated whatever amount they heartily felt to give. All money realized where handed to the poor children of the Philippines and El Salvador. This sense of satisfaction is indescribably gratifying for Juan.

Currently, Violantes is active in many professional associations, including the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and Marietta Business Association and others.
